Sanya, it's definitely warmer during winter time, but there is not much snow in some places. During summer it gets got almost everywhere up to+35 sometimes
Максим, ok) And the most warm is The BC, isn't it?
Sanya, depends what province you live in. Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba are fairly cold it can get down to-35 without wind and -50 with wind but it's only for a couple of days. Nobody works when it's that cold at least the ones that have to work outside

looks like there is no rules, no respect, of course there are terrible drivers in Canada as well but still driving is way more organised even in big cities like Toronto or Edmonton

Maxim, I can never imagine myself driving back in Russia... it's just so messed up and scary
Alexander, it's not just do drive but to make driving skills perfect. I went back to Russia recently and I was just shocked how messed up the driving is. Its just chaos i would crash in first 10 minutes

Hmmm i think it will be better to move there already with UA/RU license ;)) I had imagined this "excuse me, lady, do you have a license? sit down please into my car, i need to drive it"
Роман, oh, thx! So, if i am newbie in this, i should drive with someone who has license for a year?

Alexander, It's fairly easy to get a driving licence. There usually is a three-step procedure, and every province has different rules. However something general applies: at first you have to get your "Learners Licence" by just passing a fairly simple computer test. This licence allows you to drive ONLY if there a fully licenced driver present in the car. You are required to hold this licence for at least one year, then you can get a "GDL(Graduated) Licence" by passing a driving test. GDL licence allows you to drive by yourself, but it has several limitations: you're not allowed to have any alcohol in your blood while driving(Zero Alcohol Tolerance) and your insurance will be more expensive. After having the GDL licence for two years, you will be able to get a Full Licence by passing an advanced road test. If you have this licence you're allowed to drink a bit and you can rent cars and your insurance will go down as well.
If you have a current valid licence from Ukraine/Russia, your driving experience will be carried forward to the canadian licence i.e if you have 2 years of driving experience, you will be able to pass the advanced test right after passing your theoretical learners test

Sanya, You'll probably get paid around 10-11$/hr, depending on the location can be ridiculously busy at times so you'll have to work through lunch breaks etc.. Not too bad overall, but I would not recommend working there
As far as i know people don't get paid much there and they work long shifts but i guess it can be different at any Tim Horton's. Some smell bad and service is terrible, some are really nice and workers are friendly no matter what. In any way I wouldn't work in any fast food place
